Nominees! Recap at Nerdmelt Showroom
Sponsored by MacDuggal! the designers of this beautiful (and extra) gown
Grammy weekend, who? Spent Friday night competing in a kickass improv show at Nerdmelt Showroom called NOMINEES! An acting competition show, Nominees features six actors who compete through a variety of acting challenges to fight it out for the crown of "Best Actor" or "Best Actress"! It was also a great excuse to wear a beautiful gown by MacDuggal, who sponsored the event. Challenges included but were not limited to: performing a Progressive Commercial Copy as a Gangster Film, improvising an entire scene in response to sides from Call Me By Your Name and turning up the drama with material from This is Us. Read more about the show HERE!
Other competitors in the show were Vanessa Chester, Meryl Hathaway, Elliott Morgan, Brandon Broady and Andrew Delman. They are all so talented. Judged by Nickelodeon's Kel Mitchell, Sarah Ramos and Allan McLeod, the show was a straight up riot. Although I did not win the competition, I was runner-up to winner Vanessa Chester!
